SILVER LAKES COUNTRY CLUB Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa (www.silverlakesgolf.co.za) This course was built on a floodplain with a housing estate surrounding it. Many ponds, dams and streams were created to manage the water around which the holes were created. The natural grass and bushveld was restored in many areas off the course. A feature of the design is the double-greened island for the incoming holes and also an island fairway for one of the par fives. Style: Parkland, Par 72, 1993 |
